More than a quintet, not quite a sextet - R. Thies & His Awkward Buttlers consisted of cartoonist-frontman, R. Thies, his mannequin leg mic stand, and four Awkward Buttlers. Active for only a few months in 2011, Thies & The Butts played five shows and released one 6-song EP: Glag Vole.
